Fabrics that are too loosely woven won't be as waterproof since there is a chance for water molecules to enter the spaces between the threads. If there are spaces, they can be easily filled with a laminated polymer finish to ensure waterproof capabilities.

While both woven and non-woven polypropylene exhibits extraordinary durability, there is no denying that a woven bag will offer greater capabilities for handling and withstanding large loads and much heavier weights. The woven fabric provides extra support and durability for more flexibility and breathability. Threads are woven together to form many points of reinforcement that are not present in the heat-pressed polypropylene fabric.

Woven polypropylene fabric normally comes in white or lighter shades and may not last as long if logos or color are applied over the lamination.
